Start the year with generosity and fulfilling our Guru’s wishes!
You might know that we have been longing to fulfil the wish to have a place for multiple purposes:
✓ Gen Namgyel-la's retreat house for international students to continuously receive teachings
✓ Place for Online Sangha virtual teachings
✓ Community temple for people to pay visits, accumulate merit
✓ Gen Namgyel-la's personal retreat and living place
✓ Puja & light offerings and prayers, for individuals and the entire world
✓ The homebase from which Gen Namgyel-la will continue to provide individual guidance to students in great need
The house is located near Kingaroy, Australia, it's perfect for private retreat and a garden temple for community visits.
With the Tara's blessings and Gen Namgyel-la’s wisdom guidance with generous support from many kind students, and we are happy to announce that in Dec 2020, we have already bought a humble house ("Tara House") at an affordable price to start the project.
Fulfil the second wave of the project:
Now we sincerely need more support to fulfil the second wave of the project – which is for some necessary upgrades and maintenance. (Then, the third wave will include having a small community temple built in the garden.) So the property can be used in many ways that will be immeasurably beneficial to so many, for the sake of all sentient beings.
We have designed the project down-to-earth and practical, to create a secure place for Venerable to provide Dharma teachings and guidance, prayers and pujas, while also in retreat. The whole project is directly supervised by Venerable Namgyel, takes every student’s support seriously and treasures every kind act of support.
