What did you take away from the retreat?
There are many ways to benefit sentient beings by reciting Om Mani Padme Hum. The mantra is very powerful no matter in written form and put it in the water, the water get blessed and benefit sentient beings in the ocean. So as written on stone, people who see it will be benefited. For one who is reciting mantra, air touches his body and then when he touches others like doing reiki or massage, they are benefited by that. Everyone blessed by your presence in the market. We can bless food, water, medicine to give energy to help others. Chenresig is super kind to help us getting closer to enlightenment.
How did the retreat make you feel?
I feel lucky to join the retreat so as to remove my deluded mind. Following teacher Genla's advices to recite 10 malas Om Mani Padme Hum in every morning, will be able to accumulate merit to help sentient beings. It's so meaningful to live on and I have confidence to do so in my present situation. Will bear in mind and practice the 3 importances: Renunciation, Bodhichitta, Emptiness. Many subjects to learn like Equanimity and create compassion to all animals. The next day I saw a butterfly lying on the exit of the building, very danger as people going out and in frequently. I have no ruler or pen at that moment, only find out a identity card and try to tell her step on the card. She was clever to note and use 1 leg to help flying up and leave the floor. I was happy and recite Om Mani Padme Hum to her. Another day, I saw a snails was stepped by someone and died. No chance to help extending its life, only recite the mantra and hope it would have a good rebirth. The mantra is simple to practice. Thank you teacher.

What did you take away from the retreat?
Thank you for Genla's sincere teaching. I started to recite 108 times “Om mani pame hum” everyday since Genla told me that how powerful it is. This habit change my life, open my heart chakra, heal my past wounds, help me generate love and compassion towards others even I am in depression moment and keep my life more balanced. Thank you buddha, Chenresig, Genla, all Spiritual Mentors, and everyone in Tara Group.
How did the retreat make you feel?
This is my second time to take this course, The content of teaching still synchronize with my present situation. I released so much anger and sadness during the meditation. Just like throw away the dirty water inside, and pour lot of clear light into my body to refresh every part of my subtle energy system. I feel peaceful and calm. Feel warm around my heart then happiness raise up. It seems like all the sickness inside disappear. Wonderful and amazing experience! I wish I could be this way in my daily life even I’m busy or have struggle with others. I know it’s not easy to do this, And I will take effort to train my mind to stay calm in different situations. May happiness and peace be with all sentient beings.

How did the retreat make you feel?
All kinds of stimulating tough tasks, people and incidents arise at the same time since the retreat...instead of letting the negative thoughts, nasty comments and provocative actions eat me like before, I've been constantly reflecting on the teachings and trying to crack it one after the other...feel like all these happenings are driving me to transform in fast track...very exhausted but on the other hand very fulfilling and thoroughly enjoying...

What did you take away from the retreat?
Many sentient beings are suffering. They might not be as fortunate as us to have a human body to practise dharma, a clear mind to understand teachings, or the capacity to learn. With the compassion of Chenresig, and with their wish and blessing, we are able to benefit all beings boundlessly, so beautiful.
