Sharing from student

I have been reading and following the Lam Rim Studies online, using the Monday meditations, and have reviewed some of the courses I have taken with Genla in the past. (It is interesting how I pick up on different information reviewing past teachings.)

I had focused on time in meditation, and realized I was “leaving it behind” once I left meditation practice. As a result, I have been very focused on intentionally bringing practice into my every day life, choosing more mindful reactions and responses and focusing on benefitting others and being of service to them in any way I can. I have been exploring merging my Reiki practice with meditation and serving others also. I do feel it is time for me to engage with others in my learning, and as you said, deepen my connection and learning with Genla. Whenever I watch or listen to a recording of a teaching or a meditation, I have an instant feeling of connection and deep respect for Genla, there is something familiar and comforting hearing his voice, and I am so very grateful to have found a teacher and a community.
