Application for
V.N.O.S. CHÖ Path of the Mind Warrior©️ course

​​Requirements:
Only individuals with specific karmic connections from past lives can receive these teachings. However, below are the general requirements for reference:

 

Must meet the following criteria:

  • Acknowledgement of the establishment of a teacher-student relationship with Gen Namgyel-la.

  • Engaged in studying—whether through attending teachings or reading relevant texts—up to the Medium Scope of the Lam Rim. For detailed Lam Rim subjects, please refer to the application form.

  • Capable of attending live classes or viewing recordings before the subsequent session. Participants failing to catch up with up to two classes will not be permitted to continue the course.

 

Additional considerations:

  • Already took Buddhist Refuge or willing to take.

  • Already took Wishing or Engaging Bodhisattva vows or willing to take.

  • Join V.N.O.S’s regular course in 2025: 37 Practices of a Bodhisattva, a complementary course to Chö. How to live life as a trainee Bodhisattva. Genla recommends this very strongly if you are attending Chö, but it is not mandatory. (Vist this course)

Registration:

  • Complete the Lam Rim studies, then fill in the form below.

  • The V.N.O.S. committee will review applications and seek confirmation from Genla.

  • Applicants meeting the necessary conditions will be invited to join the class.

  • Successful applicants will receive an email notification with details to complete the registration process.

  • Rejected applicants will also receive an email notification.

Suggested Donation for 2025

  • Scholarship: $180 (Intended for unemployed individuals, students, pensioners, etc. The actual quota may vary based on total sponsorships received for the course.)

  • Standard: $350 (An offering to Genla.)

  • Sponsor: $608 (An offering to Genla, sponsors one student.)

  • Super sponsor: $908 (An offering to Genla, sponsors two students.)

  • We encourage a donation of AUD 50 to support the Key Operation Team (Tara Group basic maintenance).
